Dr. Vedant Kabra serves as the Principal Director of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram. His surgical oncology training was completed at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and the National Cancer Centre in Singapore. With over 12,000 cancer surgeries to his name, Dr. Kabra has expertise in a range of complex oncosurgical procedures, including robotic surgery for cancer treatment.
Dr. Kabra is a prominent speaker at numerous national and international conferences and has authored several papers and book chapters. He has received multiple awards recognizing his academic contributions. Committed to raising cancer awareness, he frequently conducts health talks, awareness campaigns, and self-examination workshops. Dr. Kabra is also actively involved in the tobacco control movement through his leadership in the Voice of Tobacco Victims (VoTV) initiative, which has been instrumental in advocating for a ban on gutka and the introduction of pictorial warnings on cigarette packages.
