Dr. Tejinder Kataria, a highly respected Radiation Oncologist, has been instrumental in advancing radiation treatment in India. She introduced innovative technologies like the Infinity Linear Accelerator with Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and North India’s first Integrated Brachytherapy Unit, while also initiating Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Kataria established the Radiation Oncology departments at both Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Artemis Health Institute, as well as the Radiation Oncology Division at Medanta-Gurugram.
Her extensive training includes studies at prestigious institutions such as PGI Chandigarh, the University of Cambridge, and Harvard University. At Medanta, she has implemented advanced therapies, including Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), and Total Body Irradiation (TBI), among others. Dr. Kataria has also collaborated with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and contributed to India’s National Cancer Control initiatives.
