• Dr. Sumeet Arora has successfully completed a three-year fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at SUNY in the USA, where she gained extensive clinical experience in Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes care for children aged newborn to 18 years who are facing hormonal disorders. Her training in Diabetes management involved overseeing cases of both type 1 and type 2 Diabetes in pediatric patients. For type 1 Diabetes, she utilized the latest insulin delivery technologies, including sensor-augmented insulin pumps and closed-loop hybrid insulin pumps, alongside traditional methods such as multiple daily injections.
• The Endocrinology clinics, known for their high patient volume, focused on various hormonal issues. This included addressing puberty-related conditions such as precocious puberty and delayed puberty, menstrual irregularities in young girls, polycystic ovarian syndrome in adolescents, and hormone deficiency management for conditions like Turner syndrome. Additionally, she managed thyroid disorders in children, growth hormone deficiencies, and steroid hormone imbalances, including adrenal insufficiency and Cushing's syndrome, along with the medical treatment of pituitary tumors.
