About Dr. Manjinder Sandhu

Dr. (Col) Manjinder Sandhu graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College in 1986. He completed his MD in Medicine from Pune University and earned his DNB in Medicine in 1993, where he received a Gold Medal for achieving the top rank in his MD program. In 2001, he attained his DM in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Dr. Sandhu is an experienced interventional cardiologist with over 16 years of practice post-DM. He has independently performed more than 20,000 procedures, specializing in complex coronary interventions. His expertise includes primary angioplasty, managing bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusions, and left main lesions, often utilizing advanced techniques such as thrombosuction devices and IABP. He is also proficient in using adjunctive devices like cutting balloons, angiosculpt, IVUS, and Rotablation, with most procedures conducted via the radial route.
During his distinguished service in the Army Medical Corps, Dr. Sandhu held the position of Senior Adviser (Medicine and Cardiology) at Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. He also served as an Additional Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Cantt.
