About Dr. Harit Chaturvedi

• Dr. Harit Chaturvedi embarked on his oncology journey at the renowned Cancer Institute, Adyar in Chennai, marking the beginning of his distinguished career. Over the years, he has actively participated in live surgical workshops, demonstrating his expertise, while passionately advocating for cancer awareness. For over 15 years, Dr. Chaturvedi has been a leading voice in the fight against tobacco, working through various cancer foundations to promote public health. His exceptional clinical and surgical skills have earned him widespread respect in the medical community.
• At Max Healthcare, Dr. Chaturvedi leads a robust oncology team comprising 80 oncologists across seven major super speciality centres and several standalone centres throughout Delhi NCR and North India. His commitment to delivering high-quality care is evident through initiatives such as virtual tumour boards and fostering sub-specialty expertise across Max centres. He plays a pivotal role in shaping Max Healthcare's oncology vision, focusing on enhancing people, processes, and systems. Dr. Chaturvedi is instrumental in driving clinical quality, overseeing clinician recruitment, and steering the group's long-term oncology strategy.
• As President-elect of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncologists and former President of the Indian Society of Oncology, Dr. Chaturvedi holds esteemed positions within the oncology community. Prior to his tenure at Max Healthcare, he served at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi (2004-2009), Apollo Hospital, New Delhi (2000-2004), and Batra Hospital, New Delhi (1995-1999).
